Data Controls
Buildprint provides you with control over how your application data is handled, particularly concerning the retention of uploaded app version files.
Private Mode
The "Private mode" setting allows you to manage the retention of the files uploaded when you create a new app version.
If Private mode is enabled, uploaded app version files will be deleted immediately after processing. This means that while your documentation will be generated and updated, the original source files for that specific version will not be stored by Buildprint.
Important: Enabling Private mode has significant implications. While you can still view the documentation for past app versions, you cannot download the original uploaded files. These files are necessary if you wish to import them into Bubble to restore an old version of your application using Bubble's rollback feature. If you need the ability to download these files for Bubble restoration, keep Private mode disabled.
Additionally, when Private mode is enabled, you will not be able to regenerate documentation for past app versions from the original source files, as they will have been deleted.
You can toggle Private mode in your App Settings under the "Privacy" section.
